Venue Hire and Event Coordinator

City of Newcastle (CN) is currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Venue Hire and Event Coordinator to join our Civic Services team on a casual basis.

The focus of this position is to support the venues team and work closely with clients to coordinate quality experiences across our venues for hire including City Hall, Fort Scratchley, and Civic Theatre.

Drawing upon your experience in a similar role, you will be a main contact and liaison for assigned clients and will manage all aspects of client engagement throughout the event booking, planning and delivery process. You will also demonstrate experience within the financial administration and operational management of all bookings including quotes, licences, contracts, supplier liaison and reconciliation.
