City of Newcastle (CN) are seeking two passionate Safety and Wellbeing Partner's to join our team. The Safety and Wellbeing Partners' will collaborate with the organisation and assist in the delivery of strong safety and wellbeing objectives.
The core focus of the Safety and Wellbeing Partner role is to promote a positive safety and wellbeing culture at City of Newcastle. You will consistently drive WHS policy, procedures, training, and development, while continuously improving our business practice at CN.
In this role, you will contribute towards the development of our council's safety and wellbeing practises. The successful candidate will provide client focused WHS advice, guidance, services, and be able to support various managers and teams. You will also provide accurate and timely reports, budget, and financial information to Service Unit Managers and coordinators to facilitate evidence-based decision making.
The ideal candidates will be able to develop strong relationships with leaders and partner with them to understand the key safety risks within their divisions. Your ability to drive initiatives and support the transformation of our culture's approach to safety will see you on the path to success at City of Newcastle.
